Blizzard Tournament Rules

No Profane Language No Drinks or Food in the locker rooms or on the bench, except water No tobacco products Zero tolerance enforced No noisemakers Fighting will not be tolerated (Markless) Pucks will be provided by BYHA
Infractions of the above may result in expulsion from the tournament

 

Tournament Format

All games will have stop time as follows:
Mites & Squirts	12 Minute Periods
Peewees, Girls (U12, U14) & Bantams	15 Minute Periods

Running time will be instigated after a six-goal lead in the third period.
Mites will play with USA hockey blue puck.
All other age teams will use a USA hockey official black puck.
All decisions made by the tournament director shall be final.
Round Robin Format
Scoring Format:
2 points for Win
1 point for Tie
0 points for Loss
1 point for Each Period Won
0 point for Periods Ending in a Tie
* 5 Points possible per game
Tie Breakers: (in order)
Head to Head Competition
Goal Differential in All Games
Total Points Won for Periods in All Games
Least Goals Allowed
Most Goals Scored
